Update

Christmas sneak peek!

We got a health update on Nathan yesterday. He is healthy and doing well which is good considering some of the babies are sick with the flu. Please pray that they can get rid of that ugly bug and all the babies can get well.

The report said he weight 15lbs and 7oz and said he had lost about 6oz since last month's update. I am not real sure why he has lost weight. Even though he is a very healthy baby and has weight to loose it is never good to loose 1/2 pound in one month?? I am hoping it was from the two teeth he cut (which he had diarrhea while we were down there as he was cutting the first tooth). Please pray that nothing is really wrong and he will be back up to his "fighting weight" next month! As a nurse and a mommy, it is so hard to sit back so far away from your baby and not know exactly what is wrong and not be able to take them to the doctor yourself and love on them when they are sick.

Tomorrow will be six weeks in PGN. Please continue to pray we will be approved and out for good very soon. Also pray for all the other cases in process. The Guatemala Gov. is suppose to vote today on the amendment regarding the adoption process changes and grandfather clause. I do not understand it all ( I do not think anyone does) but if you want to read more about it or keep up with it go to www.guatadopt.com for the latest updates.

(Also, check out the new post on our family blog if you haven't already- link listed on the side)

I sure hope that all the babies stay healthy but especially our sweet baby boy. Maybe their scales were wrong or Nathan was holding his breath. I do that and it works every time. Love you all

Sophie lost weight after our visit too. She was sick like Nathan and was on pedialyte for a couple of days. The next update she gained 2lbs so she made up for it.
Nathan reminds me so much of my boys. They had lots of sweet rolls like him!
p.s. I really like what your Grammie said!

He is a beautiful little boy and we are praying daily for him and his health. We are also praying for the end of PGN and we are believing all will go well and he will be home soon. We love all three of you.

Ellie took a dip one month, too. I know that when we are at the dr.'s office here, they have not weighed our kids quite right at times, so you know that must factor into the weighing of lots of babies all at once.

Praying you will sail through PGN without a ko, and for Nathan to get well soon!

Hi! I'm so jealous of your pictures! They are awesome. That child will have to do some modeling - photographs very well! Our pictures this month - not so great. :O(

Sarah Beth's weight has been all over the place. We were told on our update that it's likely because of different people weighing her each time (and apparently not sure of how to read the scale correctly). So, I have no idea what she really weighs.

Praying for an out soon!

I bet he had a really wet diaper last month when they weighed him :) Not to worry - he looks like the picture of health! We just need to get him home so he doesn't pick up any more little illnesses there. He will have an immune system of steel when he does get home!
