Well, we are here! We made it on Saturday after a long day of travel. It took us longer than expected (story to come later). We finally got to the Children’s home around 6:15. We actually met Nathan for the first time about 7:20- WOW, what an indescribable experience!!! I knew right away it was him! He is perfect!!! He is definitely not starving;) I was afraid the clothes I brought would not fit. I am going to have to start buying bigger clothes. He has a little cold right now and is also cutting his first tooth-Thank you Lord for letting us be here for one of his ‘first’s”!
We are still in shock that we are here. Please continue to pray for us. Also pray that Nathan will get better. There seems to be a lot of babies with colds at the orphanage. As far as us, we are still healthy, just extremely tired, but loving it!!
As far as all my Guatemala Friends, your babies are precious. I took the packages to them yesterday. The "mama's" do such a good job with all the little ones.
Sorry, but no pictures yet. I am having problems posting pics. It takes forever!!! I will try later, but right now I am going to get back to Nathan!!!
We love you all and feel all your prayers!!!!

I am thrilled it is going well...praying for that cold to pass soon. My advice, take lots of pics there, send/post them from home and don't waste Nathan time trying to download...it does take forever!!

You all are in our prayers and cannot wait until we can see pics of you as a family. We know you will get them posted. The main thing is that you spend as much time with Nathan as possible. Hello Allums Family!
I just stumbled across your blog, and as another mother with a baby at EN, I am living your joy vicariously and imagining how it will feel when we first lay eyes on our son. We'll pray for little Nathan to get over his cold, how nice that he has his mommy with him to make him feel better! A tooth! how exciting. He is a beautiful little boy!
I know you're probably very busy and completely blissed out spending time with your little one. I hope I'm not being to forward in asking, but if you happen to see my little sweetie, Danny (Spelled Dannynller) - (he's the baldy in the bunch), could you please send a little loving his way from his mommy and daddy and big sister. Maybe give him about 10 million kisses from us? If you have time to meet him, I'd love to hear about him when you get back. It's so hard to live month to month on only six pictures at a time. Anything you can tell us about him would be a huge gift. (ttennessen@gmail.com)
But if you get wrapped up in little Nathan and forget about the rest of the world for your visit, I completely understand.
I hope you enjoy your visit, our hearts and prayers are with you.

Casey and Steph,
Know that you and precious Nathan are in my prayers. I'm believing and trusting with all my heart that God will have him home with you before Christmas! I thank Him now for this precious time that you're having together. I love you and can't wait to see pictures!
