Waiting...

Well, I was hoping to have heard something by now, but no update yet. I am sure it is out there somewhere...

While we continue to wait through this long journey, I try to stay busy and keep my mind occupied, but it does not always work. My mind always seems to drift back to Nathan.

This week I do not have to work, because I worked all my days last week, so today I enjoyed a good lunch with a precious friend of ours who has a daughter from Guatemala. She is Beautiful!!! I just love being around her. It makes my heart feel so good to see her and touch her and know that these children do come home and have a life outside of an orphanage. I can not wait for the day the two of them can play together and interact! They are going to have so much fun (Sophie will have to teach him how to swim at the lake this summer;) )- what a JOYOUS day that will be!
God has blessed us with so many people through this journey that otherwise we would not have met, and I am so thankful. I sit in awe when think about all He has done and all He is doing.

"Be still before the Lord and wait patiently for him" Psalm 37:7

Waiting is so hard, isn't it? I'm praying that you receive news soon and that it is very good news!

Nathan is such a beacon of happiness - I love seeing pictures of him, and I'll really love seeing pictures of him home in your arms!

I know that the waiting is so hard. I just know that Nathan will be home soon. I pray daily for Nathan and all of the other little children waiting to be home with their families. I pray that God's perfect time will be soon. Love you all very much, Mom

Still praying daily for the 3 of you and knowing that GOD got this. I pray that HIS perfect timing is soon and that the 2 of you continue to have strength to endure this journey. I also pray for Nathan's health and happiness until his mommy and daddy come and get him.
