Moving Forward with Faith

Well, we still continue to move forward with the adoption of our son. Things seem to be going smoothly right now. Yesterday we turned in our dossier documents which means we are finished with all of the paper work and we are now officially on the list for the referral of a boy. According to Anna, we are just a couple weeks away from getting CIS approval. Originally we thought CIS approval would take about 90 days, but now it is only taking about 30 days. Once we have approval we will be able to accept a referral for our child.

God is still working and moving in our lives and in our child's life. Continue to pray for us and for our child. It is still going to be a long, but hopefully short, journey until our child comes home forever. Pray specifically that no mistakes or errors have been or will be made on the paperwork. Also, pray for those who will be reviewing and approving the documents once it moves into the Guatemalan courts.

Thank you for the prayers and encouragement. We trust that God knows best for us and our child and we continue to hold onto Him. We know that He is faithful and we hope that all who read and follow our story will be encouraged by His love and faithfulness as well.
