Worth the Wait

Where we are now:
We are working daily and weekly on our paperwork for our homestudy. We just got our fingerprints for immigration done today. That was an experience we will not forget. Getting fingerprinted is something I hoped to never have to do, but at least it is for a good reason.

We had a meeting with our social worker last week. Now we just have to meet with her one more time in our home. She has been great to work with. We are very pleased with Lifeline thus far.

We are getting more excited by the day. As we get more into the homestudy the more real it seems. It is hard to believe that this could be the year that we become parents. God is so good. We are so blessed to get to experience this whole process. I never could have dreamed life would have led us down this path. We have learned so much about God's love for us and for people. Our prayer is that God gets all the glory during this journey.

Please pray for us as we try to finish our homestudy. We still have to get the background checks and fingerprints back. Pray that the prints will be proccessed quickly and will not have to be redone. That is usually what holds up sending the paperwork to the country. Also pray for wisdom, patience and understanding for us during this. God is in control and we hold on to that promise. Most importantly, pray for our child that he is safe and healthy whether he is in the womb or already been delivered. Also pray for his birth mother that her needs are met and that she feels the love and comfort from our Lord.

We will continue to keep you posted as the process goes along.
Thanks for your prayers. We appriciate them more that you will ever know!
Stephanie and Casey

I am really excited for you guys. I think it is really cool that not only has God chosen the baby for you, but that He also has chosen you for this baby. It is a very special calling. A great responsibility, but an equally great blessing and I think God has chosen the perfect people for the job.
Love you guys, Chris
