Where we are now

We are moving along at a good pace right now. We are closing in on the last of the paperwork for the homestudy. We are meeting with Anna, the social worker a week from today (next friday). She will come to our home for the last official meeting. After the meeting we have appointments with our doctor for our phyiscals. Then all we will need is for our prints to come back!
I will be starting on the paper work for the dossier, which is the formal application to Guatemala. It is not near as much work as the homestudy. We are probably looking at sending the application sometime the first of February! Yeah! It is starting to feel real!!

Please pray that the fingerprints come back soon and come back done correctly! I know the Lord has already taken care of them! Pray that we can get all the certified documents needed for the dossier in a timely manner. But most importantly, pray for our child. More than likely his/her mother is carrying him/her at this time. Pray for both baby and mom's needs to be met on a daily bases. I trust that God is protecting and providing for our child's every need. We thank Him for all He has done and all He is going to do. I am still amazed that God has chosen us to be a part of such an amazing experience. We know God has a plan for us and a plan for our child. My prayer is that though all this, that God gets all the glory. It is only because of Him that we are being brought together with our child in such an amazing way.
