Homestudy in the mail

I spoke with our social worker, Anna, today. She has finalize our homestudy and will be placing it in the mail tomorrow to go to DHR. They will take about 30 days to process and then immigration will process it, which will take 3 months or less. Seems like all the paper work is going well on this end.

There have been a few things that have happened within Gautemala regarding adoptions that had us concerned about whether or not we would be able to complete our adoption process. As of right now Anna says we do not have anything to worry about other than the usual unexpected complications that always have the potential to arise. Pray that we will trust in God and not worry about tomorrow. We know God has not brought us this far for nothing. He has a plan for us that is far beyond our understanding and we are trusting in him.

Once again, we thank you for our prayers. They are greatly appriciated. We continue to pray for our child God has chosen for us. We are excited about what God is doing and is going to do.

Trusting in Him,
Stephanie and Casey

"So don't worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will bring it's own worries. Today's trouble is enough for today."
